of a controversy at uc berkeley. cal students are calling for a ban of the salvation army on campus, after allegations of being insensitive to lesbians and transgenders surfaced online. student leaders passed a billow posing the organization. university officials are considering a campus-wide ban of the group. the salvation army denies all of those allegations in recent statements. >>> funeral services are being held this weekend for two teenage girls shot to death in east oakland. 15-year-old raquel gerstel and 16-year-old bobby sartain were best friends. they were shot two weeks ago near brooke dale park. police have not made any arrests. services for raquel happen today at 11:00 this morning at cooper's mortuary on fruitvale avenue. >>> the man accused of killing sierra lamar will be arraign order new charges tomorrow. antolin garcia-torres has now been accused of three other attempted kidnappings. the 21-year-old was charged last month in connection to those assaults. the incidents took place back in 2009, all in safeway parking lots. garcia-torres was employed at the safeway in morgan
california. cal state fullerton is on lockdown. we have a live picture of the campus for you there. here's what's going on. police are searching for two armed men. now they believe it started when five suspects robbed a jewelry store in riverside county. after a chase that ended near the fullerton campus, apparently they have been able to arrest two of those suspects. police checking the campus for two others and we have some earlier video of the fifth suspect respect who police say carjacked this silver car and took off. the chase went on for miles. it finally anded in watts where police chased the suspect down and arrested him at that baseball diamond. >>> the white house has one word for korea's rocket launch. irresponsible. now the united nations security council is work on their response. cbs news reporter monica villamizar has more. >> reporter: north korea says it fired this long-range rocket into orbit to launch a weather satellite. but many suspect this launch brings the communist nation a step closer to developing the technology to carry a nuclear weapon across the pacific. >>

manager on how they view amtrak's work with california and cal trans. they are concerned with changes to state support services program, section 209 of the passenger rail investment and improvement act, the priia. that forces the state of california to pay $20 million that are going to be taken out of that budget for them. it runs along the border of my area which is the alameda corridor east which is a train transportation that brings in to the rest of the nation. we are watching the reorganization of amtrak, making sure it doesn't hinder any state partnerships. these are critical because they are the ones who will in the end work with the local communities to ensure that we get more people to utilize it. we are pleased that the reorg has created an executive level position of general manager. i look forward to meeting that individual and working with him. it's a very positive step and the states provide 50% of the revenues to amtrak. we must have a senior amtrak level position to work with state on their programs. and this is especially important, section 209 of priia negatively imp
